Marques de Murrieta still stands out today for its specificity of having Finca Ygay exclusively for its estate: 300 hectares of its own vines. This allows it, among other things, to ensure the quality of its vines and its grapes.
To respect tradition and their commitment, the harvests have always been done the same way, namely manually. Followed by traditional, slow and natural vinification to promote aromas and polyphenols. Two origins of oak barrels are used: American and French.
The Reserva vintage is:
93% of Tampranillo
4% of Mazuelo
2% Graciano
1% Grenache
The wine will be matured for 21 months in oak barrels then softened for 24 months in the bottle.
