Second wine from the very great Chateauneuf-du-Pape Vieux Télégraphe, the Télégramme vintage lives up to the reputation of the estate. This Châteauneuf-du-Pape is dominated by Grenache which gives it a very particular suppleness and roundness. One of our best sellers on our site, absolutely worth tasting!

Worthy of his elder Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Crau , this slightly red wine spicy is a real success!

This prestigious vintage displays a balance and one bunch exceptional aromatic. With masterful efficiency, the Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe Télégramme wine highlights all the elegance red fruit.

This red wine provides balance while delicacy . In the mouth, the aromas are dominated in particular by the grenache but we feel flavors of raspberry and of cherry bitter too.

Its tannins are fine but mixed with tones of white pepper.

To the eye, it reveals a pretty intense red color. On the nose, this Télégramme Chateauneuf-du-Pape wine reveals notes of red fruits, scrubland and lavender.

Since 1891, exactly 6 generations, the domain of the old telegraph has been operated by the Brunier family. The vineyard, with an average age of 60 years, is located on the famous Crau plateau, a center of viticulture in Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

To produce the Télégramme vintage, the family uses the production of young vines less than 30 years old, as well as older plots not located on the Crau and Piedlong plateaus.

The cellars are located 2 km to the south, at the foot of the plateau, at a place called Le Pigeoulet, where it was more natural to sink into the forming rock to create the aging cellars, and take advantage of the cutting of the soil for the gravity transport of crops.
For more than a century, the Brunier family has been producing red and white Châteauneuf du Pape here, strongly influenced by their terroir, a rampart behind which it can protect its vintages from the onslaught of excessive modernity.
