Gayda Estate Moscow Road
À quoi s'attendre ?
Informations supplémentaires
The story of the name of this vintage is a story that deserves to be told. It says that at the top of the grove there was a tree overlooking the horizon and which was called the Moscow Tree. At the time, he helped aviators find their way. One day, this tree was struck down by lightning during a storm. Domaine de Gayda has therefore decided to pay homage to this lovely village history by calling its cuvée Chemin de Moscow.
Traditional vinification with 2 weeks of post-fermentation maceration is carried out. Then, the wine spends 21 months in barrels: a third of Syrah in new barrels for 9 months, the Grenache and the Cinsault pass in barrels of 1 and 2 wines for 9 months then are assembled in the best barrels of each grape variety. The final blend then ages for 12 months in the same barrels.
